Romantic place, very professional staff. A nice size and fancy room, comfy bed, private parking. Savoury food in the terrace for breakfast. Comfortable location not far from both the railway station and the old town, and the historic centre, and the train station, 5 min walk to train station. Very good services. Lovely pool.

Thanks to all welcoming and pleasant staff. We stay in king room quite often, it is huge and bright.
The bathrooms are so small.

Had a warm stay on holidays, everything was great. We really enjoyed the guest room which was bright in baroque style. The location was great and amazing - ease of access to Piazzetta Giosue Carducci.

Spacious rooms and friendly staff made our Christmas stay enjoyable. The hotel's key location, just a short walk from the historic center, was perfect for exploring the city. We also loved the fact that the hotel had a pool, which was a great way to relax and cool off during the hot afternoons.
There were a few drawbacks to our stay. The breakfast could have been better, with limited options and the absence of certain items like bacon.

Fantastic air-con - absolutely necessary in Lecce in July when we were there. It was great to have a swimming pool - managed to get in even though it wasn't heated! It would be lovely to have a heated pool but a lot of hotels, even package tour ones, don't seem to heat their pools. A shame. Great location - right next-door to the station which was very handy for travelling to other places such as Alberobello, Gallipoli and Otranto. Also there is a good cafe in the station and a little cafe outside the station where you can buy water and get a good cup of tea! Only about 10-minute walk to the historic centre where most people tend to go to eat and sight-see. Also there is a bus stop for local buses more or less outside the hotel. The hotel is quite small and most days it was very quiet at the pool so very relaxing.
Breakfast: the scrambled egg wasn't very appetising although it did taste ok on the one occasion I had it. Could have done with some toast but the rolls were very nice. Would have loved a kettle and cups to make tea but it wasn't so far to go and grab a cuppa at the local cafes. The mini-bar wasn't very cold. Not enough hangers in the room - I did ask for some more but there was a slight communication problem - in the end it didn't really matter.

Beautifully maintained period hotel. Very comfortable room, reliable facilities (including wifi), good breakfast, pleasant and helpful staff, a few minutes walk from train station, and from historic centre, I was sorry to leave.

The service was excellent, the food was fresh. Parking was on site and I paid extra £13 per day to park the car. This hotel had a central position near a train station.

Staff totally incompetent and inadequate, they should be aware that stars and antiques do not make a good hotel.
